PROFESSOR MICK POPE has a PhD in Meteorology from Monash University, and lectures in meteorology and climate. He is currently studying a masters degree in theology, looking at a hermeneutic for the Anthropocene. Mick is an adjunct faculty at Eastern College and a Professor of Environmental Mission at Missional University. He is co-author of “A climate of hope: Church and mission in a warming world”, and author of “A climate of justice: Loving your neighbour in a warming world”.

He has spent much of his life studying, teaching, writing about and advocating for the church to engage with environmental issues. Mick lives in Melbourne with his wife, teenage son, and assorted animals.
